Gives leaders and teams a structured way to understand how they show up, make decisions, relate to others, and work under pressure.

Psychometrics give leaders and teams useful language for understanding how they show up, make decisions, relate to others, and respond under pressure. Used well, they do not put people in boxes. They help people notice patterns, understand their impact, and make more informed leadership choices.

We use psychometrics as developmental tools, not shortcuts or fixed descriptions of who people are. They help leaders and teams identify strengths, recognise overextensions, and apply insight to the demands of their roles, relationships, and organisational context. The goal is more conscious, effective action in everyday work.

This work connects across all three pillars of our practice. In INpowered Leadership, psychometrics support self-awareness and leadership development. In Leadership in Teams, they create a shared language for difference, communication, conflict, and working under pressure. In Leadership in Systems, they support reflection on behavioural patterns, culture, and the ways people and systems shape one another.

We use a limited number of tools, each for a distinct purpose. Lumina Learning is central to this work. It helps individuals and teams understand their preferences, how these can become overextensions under pressure, and how difference affects relationships and performance. It can also help teams and organisations see patterns that often remain unspoken, including patterns that may affect women and neurodivergent people differently.

EQ-i 2.0 provides a focused emotional-intelligence lens: how leaders perceive, express, and manage emotions; build relationships; make decisions; and respond to stress. We use the Enneagram only in one-to-one coaching, as a reflective tool for deepening self-understanding—not for labelling people.

Tools we use

  • Lumina Learning — Our primary psychometric platform for leadership, teams, and systems or culture work.
  • EQ-i 2.0 — A focused emotional-intelligence assessment used when a clearer EI lens is needed.
  • Enneagram — A coaching-only reflective tool used to explore motivation, pattern, and self-awareness more deeply.

What this work enables

  • Stronger self-awareness and more informed choice in how leaders and teams work.
  • A clearer shared language for strengths, patterns, differences, and pressure responses.
  • Better connection between insight and day-to-day leadership, team practice, and organisational realities.
  • Development work that stays practical and tied to real roles, relationships, and context.

Who this is for

  • Leaders who want a deeper understanding of how they show up and what shapes their impact.
  • Management and leadership teams that need a stronger shared language for working together.
  • Organisations that want psychometrics used as part of serious development work, not as a stand-alone personality exercise.
  • Coaching clients who want structured reflective tools that support lasting development.
